For your home
Wi-Fi that reaches the whole house
Dead spots in the back bedroom. Buffering upstairs. A router from the cable company doing its best in a cupboard. We fix that properly.
Nearly every house we visit has the same problem: one router, sitting wherever the internet line came into the building, trying to cover a house it was never going to cover. Adding a cheap extender usually makes it worse. The fix is putting the right number of access points in the right places, wired properly, on channels that are not fighting each other.
What's included
What the job covers
- A walk of the house with a meter, so we know where the signal actually drops — not where we guess it does
- Access points placed and mounted where the coverage needs to be, including upstairs, the shop and the back porch
- Hard-wired where we can run a cable, mesh where we honestly cannot
- One network name that follows you room to room, instead of Netgear_EXT_2
- Guest Wi-Fi kept separate from the cameras, the TVs and your own machines
- The old equipment taken away, and a note of the passwords left with you
What that gets you
The result
Full coverage
Signal in the rooms you actually use, including the ones at the far end of the house.
No more extenders
One network, one password, no switching between a main and an _EXT as you walk around.
Room to grow
Cameras, TVs, a thermostat and a work laptop all on it without the whole thing falling over.
Sound familiar?
Any of these you?
- "The Wi-Fi is fine in the living room and useless in the bedroom."
- "We added an extender and now it's somehow worse."
- "We just moved in and the whole house needs doing."
- "I work from home two days a week and the video calls keep dropping."
Any of those is a good reason to get in touch. Tell us what is going on and we will give you a price — and we will say so if it is not something we should take on.
